hey,

one of my friends dad has a slr. her says that his dads slr doors, open normally like a normal car (side) but it doesnt open upwards like the pictures i have seen!!

is he lying

He probably has SL or SLK with a bodykit. SLR doors open upwards, only way they come from the factory.

Does it look remarkably similar to the one on the right? If so, he's a poser. The only way they come in is with the gullwing doors.

Both UK cars

52 plate = 2002

04 plate = 2004

car on the left looks like SL55, the car on the right is the SL350 or SL500 with a custom hood.
