There's a 'RHD conversion' thread not far from this one that explains it all...
The cars are developed and assembled here in the UK, but most parts are made in Germany.
And to be honest, if you're serious about sports cars you will know that many of the greatest sports cars of all time were rarely or never made in RHD.

Ah, yes. Surely nobody serious about sports cars has ever heard of the Jaguar SS100, Aston Martins, Allard J2, various Lotii etc etc. Nope, no RHD ever!

That's not what i was saying. Note the word RARELY.
UK cars are hardly going to count, are they?!
I live in the UK, and the number of early 90's Porsche (964) 911s in LHD that litter my city shows that when people truly want a sports car, they'll import an LHD car rather than wait out the RHD waiting list.
Try picking up a 964 Carrera RS, or a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evolution, or
a Mercedes-Benz W124 500E in RHD.
Most enthusiasts don't bother, and are happy to drive LHD cars on our roads.
Did i mention Ferrari?
