you know they originally planned for the SLR to be a convertable, or at least to have a roadster edition. They decided against it because they could not get the chassis rigid enough without the roof. That is prolly a picture of the SLR when it was still a concept car and they made a prototype roadster, it definately looks like the concept, they changed a few things before production, if you could see the interior then you'd really know.
