I take the SLR any day. The GT is not even in the same league.

I'd rather have the SLR. I've heard the GT has a ton of wind noise, and possibly the hardest suspension ever. The SLR is a nice compromise between a Grand Tourer and a Supercar.

Of course it has a hard suspension...it's a race car!!!! After an hour drving one, I found the seats were the worst part...

Between these two gorgeous cars.... I'd take the Ford.

Why pay almost 3 times more for an AUTOMATIC?!?!

I've been lucky to drive a GT, and a few other "supercars," it's obvious that when it comes to performance/$$..the Ford can't be beat. I'm sure the SLR has a nice ride and is amazing to drive...it's a ben. Our dealership never got one because we knew it would take a miracle to sell it.

The SLR is a grand tourer/supercar, the GT is a hard-core supercar.

Of course! Rather have paddles on my wheel than using a stone-age gearbox. The auto also shift tons faster than anyone could ever shift manually..

And... You do not only pay for the gearbox...... That's a strange comment.
