I must say it was even more impressive than the pics and tv shows that featured it.
It was at International autos in West Allis, WI.
Sitting in the service lobby with a cover on it. The owner was nice enough to let the SA take the cover off and give anybody that wanted an exterior tour of that amazing machine. I felt blessed.
For those of you can afford it and own one, congrats and enjoy the heck out if it. Hats off.
I have seen 2 of them at the benz dealer... and wow what a car, the sales guy said the car on the show room used to belong to a guy who just traded it in for an 06 SLR. Whats also crazy is they had 4 Maybachs every 65 AMG car just about every car mercedes makes. wow i was like a kid walking in a candy store.
I saw a silver/Berry red one at a car show at Knockhill race track in Sunny Scotland!
In with the SLR was a Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Gallardo, CLK500, Maserati Gransport, Aston Martin Vanquish and DB9, SL65, CL65, S320cdi and a Ferrari 360 modena.
Even with all those extraordinary cars there, the SLR benz was the one that was on a podium/stand so that no one could touch it![:(]
