One of my friends was involved in building the production line (but not the car itself, alas), it's really clever how they keep it spotless - the building is basically pressurized to about 0.99g (i.e. fractionally less than normal), the effect of this is so slight as to be completely unnoticable to humans, but it has the effect of making dust, grime etc suspend itself in the air rather than hitting the ground. The air is then passed through a filtration system that separates out the dust and dumps it into a sack outside the building.

neat eh?
I was expecting an answer like this. That is so neat. There is this one jail in Michigan where they make the license plates for all Michigan cars. The pictures of the jail factory looked as clean as that assembly plant.
