In 1986 I had a 280TE when I was living in Sweden, and went on to a 1990 300TE I had had some 466 cars up the that point in my life, it was a dream to drive compared with anything else, In 1996 I returned to the UK where I started up a new business and had little time for motoring and bought the V70r for my work, by 2005 I was really missing the something nice to drive and bought a 1999 129 320, wanting something better I went for the 230 SL500 that I kept for 6 years. In the mean time a nice 140 CL came along cheap and I bought it, this was so nice to drive I thought not so many good years left at 77,so sold the 230 and bought a 216 CL500, so I have these 3 cars to play with The CL500 is really so nice

1) long term value for money spent - relying upon expectation of long term ownership,
2) safety - remarkably the best, proven,
3) comfort - design and engineering, need I say more,
4) prestige - if that's in your objective, clearly styling and status never goes unnoticed,

I happen to own 3-Mercedes Benz automobiles today and have owned others in th past. As well have always I been attracted to European styling, with previous ownership including BMWs (7-series), Audi (A8 and A3) and Saab as well as numerous US manufactured vehicles, Corvettes included.

Where properly maintained the Mercedes products simply outlast their competitors.

Always figured myself to be more of an Audi or BMW driver, but the first test drive of the C (w203), I was hooked. Was driving one a few days later.

The quality, helpfulness and attention to detail of sales staff (Mercedes-benz in Munich) was astounding and that level of quality service has been constant throughout the service centres cross europe.

Comfort, quality, reliability and safety were the other reasons for the purchase...

Since then circumstances had it that I needed to relocate to where they drive on the "wrong" side of the road. Bringing my C over wouldn't be an option so I found myself a nice-looking 1997 SL 320.

Very different cars, very different purposes but same level of quality and safety... ok, they also make for nice highway cruisers.

All the "little stuff" really. I love the quality of the clips used in places you don't see. I really appreciate the free access to EPC & simple access to official repair information. Having a Mercedes makes you feel like Mercedes wants you to take care of your car, keep it, appreciate it (rather than throw it away and buy a new model every 2 years)

First time Benz owner here. But all I had to do was drive the car and right away I knew this is it! Few weeks later with some searching around, research and deal making at the Benz dealer got myself a 2009 pre-owned C230. Could not be happier !!

I bought a old 1968 Mercedes 250 sedan about 10 years ago,it is a delightful old sedan. My new Mercedes C250 coupe is a absolute joy to drive,I am amazed at the detail MB dedicates to this entry model,as I have a 1-ton Chev truck,a 1968 Austin Healey, and a couple of motorcycles to ride.

Comfort was my main reason

Quality and performance.

Everytime i get on the road i feel safe, Im young with no kids but knowing if i have any now or in the future my benz is safe and i love that. It drives amazing, theres nothing i would rather do during my down time than take my benz for a spin. The way it handles makes me smile. Outstanding craftsman ship is a plus and not only are they reliable but beautiful and timeless as well. I Love the W114 now just as much as a W203 0r W204. I really love that they are so versatile, you can have a nice, clean, classy one or a hard Mean one. Benz makes something for everyone even a soccer mom can have an AMG Wagon or ML, eff ya!
All in all i love my benz
