I didn't really "choose" it and it surely didn't "choose" me. But we seem to be playing well together so far and I'm slowly falling in like with everybody else's buying decisions.

Quality, durability, longevity.

Oh, and being steeped like a bag of tea in pro-MB propaganda since birth.

The looks, performance, prestige, value, and all others were a plus.

I almost feel the same. Mine was sitting in my buddies garage for years. When my friend offered it to me, I couldn't believe it. I didn't even look at it in great detail when we were hangin' out, because I thought it was staying in the family!

These fine automobiles couldn't be any easier to work on. From any angle, what great rolling works of Art!

I have previously owned 2--best driving and comfortable cars i have owned (i have owned 15-20 different cars previously). My brother bought the 1999 C230 from me and it still drives like a dream. I sold the SLK because i found out i did not like convertibles. (Fantastic drive for a small car!) The current MB, a 2006 E320 CDI, is amazing! A luxurious, powerful, comfortable panzer tank that gets over 30 MPG!

I ended up with a MB because once I had owned my Volvo and driven my dad's BMW other non European brands just didn't seem to have the same overall quality. When we decided to look at cars I looked at the Volvo S60, BMW 3 Series, Merecedes C Class and the one we found fit all our criteria in terms of styling, price, options, etc. so we went with it.
