I bought my MB for the following reasons, I have 2 BMW'S, a 3 series for my wifw and I had the 5 series. When I wanted to trade my 6 year old 5 series in for the new BMW F10 528xi when I found out that BMW was putting in a 4 banger engine, twin turbo 240 HP into the 528. I didn't want a 4 banger in my new 2012 f10 BMW so I started to compare the F10 against thea new 2011 e350 sport.

When I went to my local MB dealer, my mouth fell open when I saw the e350 sport, blk on blk, wood grain trim, spoiler and LED lights on the great looking grill, I couldn't resist. The MB dealer gave me a instant 4k rebate for changing from BMW to MB and I ended up buying the car for $100.00 over dealer cost, I got mats and the windows tinted. When I picked up the car on 10/18/2011 and drove it home I couldn't beleieve how great it was to drive.

I have had so much pleasure driving both of my BMW's and now I see I will enjoy more pleasure driving this e350. As far as I'm concderned I certainly made and excellent choice.

Best Regards to all members

Why did I just buy a 10 year old C320? In a fit of pique, because I had borrowed her car to go to my summer job after high school, my mother decided that I needed a car of my own that very day. The first cheap car that ran which she found was a (then 12 year old) 1960 MB 220 S. Manual 4 speed on the column with an oversized steering wheel. It came with a very large trunk filled with spare parts and was generaly held together by rust. I drove it off/on for 5 years and, when i left for grad school, my mother took it and drove it for another 10, or so. It wasn't the best car, as it had a fondness for mechanics and a need for expensive repairs. But, it was quite comfortable and, though stately, it was very fun to drive!

Loved the ride and the performance so I bought a new 98 ml320.
Mercedes would have to buy the car back and appologize before I would ever consider buying another one. Jim

Thumbs up

Just after delivering the last of the children to college, the ABS on the van, which i got stuck with after a divorce. While the van had proven itself quite useful in toting all of my toys (camping gear, bicycles, canoe, skis and snowboards), I still had a general desire to downsize. I found a 2002 C320 RWD wagon with 42000 mi on it for $8000! Lightly driven by a local MD, but in need of some TLC. So far, so good. I'm loving it!

always had bmw's 6 cyl. never had problems with any of them until last one. bought 5series v8 and really is an awsome car but previous owner did something to engine and after 6months of ownership i had enough looking for missing coolant(no leaks so u know what it could be). i was looking for another bmw for part ex but non of them were in good condition so i thought maybe running merc for few months just to "repair budget" and ten get another bmw. now i want to keep it until weels start falling off. honestly it's very very nice car.

ps. what is better? bmw or merc? well...i can't see difference apart logo but if u want dig up in details bmw has advantage in few things were merc has advantage in another few things.

Why? My 70 year old European mechanic kept telling me M-B had picked up their act... and was driving a diesel GL that he loves to bits. I had a BMW 733 years back, so knew what a nice car can be. Traded that panzer for a Volvo 850 turbo 5 speed that was perhaps the best car I've ever owned. Then the Passat diesel wagon. When it started to look like it was about to be expensive... I looked at a new full load diesel Passat... then compared to the used E320. About the same price, but NO comparison! And it was diesel too. Sold!

My wife calls it my 'old man comfort car'. Ask me if I care...

Who cares! I'm only 18 and I loves me a soft, quiet mile-muncher.

Talking why?

I always had El Caminos, corvettes, old cars and such, I always wanted a MB roadster, but price and availability of a rust free example never came together, Until last summer when I spied my baby in a yard with a cardboard sign stuck on the windshield. In from Arizona, Owner could no longer get in and out with bad knees, enter Steve with $5700. The rest is history.....
