Do you have any photos of the interior or the options it came with, GPS display, transmission controls, etc...?

I don't have any pics yet, the only options the car came with was a package that has rain sense wipers, rear window shade, blue glass, 6 disc changer, and Sirius sat radio. Not sure what latest technologies you're refering to. Yeah it does have stability and traction control but they are fairly seamless. The one thing I wanted was a manual transmission, but the AMG Speedshift automatic is SO good I don't miss a clutch and shifter at all. It doesn't have nav, which I wouldn't use if it did.

We purchased our first Mercedes in 1987. It was a gorgeous, white 1973 450 SEL. We bought it on a whim. I had always admired the Mercedes at the annual Chicago Auto Show but never thought I would be able to afford one.

The 450 SEL hooked me. I have had a total of 7 Mercedes since and my current car is a w203 2002.

I love this car!

Looking for a recent E320 4Matic wagon for my wife.

We had tried VWs, Volvos, Saabs, Jaguars, BMWs, Mazda (the Miata was a great car!) For the past 6 years or so we have been driving American cars and trucks. Bought a brand new 2004 Buick which now has 85k miles and is literally falling apart before our eyes. NEVER AGAIN will we own anything but a Mercedes.

Just purchased my first MB this week, and although style, performance, and prestige are all good things that come as a part of the package, the value is what is really sold me on taking the plunge. The economy has really put a damper on the MB market and the value that I am retaining in this purchase is amazing. My purchase is at 2/3 of the book value. I just couldn't pass that up.

I was in the arket for a new car. I had bought a Buick - supercharged, had a little style, no back seat room, and leaked every fluid in it by 100K miles. I was in the market for an Infinity G35, but I'm a deal guy and couldn't find a good deal. I found the '01 E320 Sport and what I deal it was. I LOVE this car and will drive the wheels off it. With this forum, it will be fantastically maintained by ME and passed on to my daughter to enjoy. Anther MB is in my future - probably another E class for my customers, but we'll see!

Can't get enough of this post!!

I say, Sir - do you have any Grey Poupon??

Back to the original question of the thread (failed that part)... about 3 years ago I was lucky enough to drive the particular CLK I picked up recently. After owning a few E30's, the experience simply driving the CLK (the first Benz I had ever actually driven) was enough to make my Beemers feel like a '65 Beetle. I knew then there were more engineering marvels built into the brand than I could understand, yet, I just KNEW by the way it felt - tight yet beefy, powerful yet quiet, smoooooth and solid - I definitely wanted one eventually. The time came where I could, so I did! Would love to own a Benz SUV to pull a 3 rail trailer to the motocross track. My truck is simply a POS now. Every time I'm forced to drive it I'm irritated, and it's newer than the car! Surely there are plenty of great autos out there but a Benz has got to be somewhere near the top of the list.
