Talking

There are many reasons I bought my 05' c320. This is the 2nd MB I've owned. The 1st MB I bought was an an 04' SLK230. In between 04' and 08' I've owned one other car. Looking back now, it wasn't the smartest financial move nor was it an overall "smart" choice, but when the Solstice GXP's came out, I instantly fell in love...I had to have one so I traded in my MB for the GXP and after 7 months of ownership, I traded it in and bought my 05' MB.

Reason #1:
My dad had a stroke and then had a pacemaker put in, in early January (he's fine now) and my mom isn't the best driver and I'm the "only child" so, I wanted to make sure that when I took them places that my dad was as comfortable as possible. My husbands daily driver was a GTO which he owned for about a year then during all this "drama" traded it in for a Chevy truck (better for his type of work) so it left us with no "backseat" option.

Reason #2:
I really got tired of the shifting in daily traffic (manual 5 speed) The GXP does NOT have a "user friendly" clutch and it started to become unbearable. I was stressed driving into work and coming home. Enough was enough.

Reason #3:
I have always been a sportscar kind of girl, only owning one other 4 door car, a Jeep Liberty back in 2001 and HATED it. Sold that car for a Vette. Then after that many other cars followed....

But, I've always liked the C class MB so, the timing was right and I really couldn't be happier with it!

Smile The Dealership Was the Reason

When I went to Randy Adams, Inc. (New Braunfels, Texas) last week, I had no idea what type of car of wanted. After talking to my sales guy at length about what type of features I needed, he recommended a used Mercedes that was not only affordable, but had all of the features that I wanted. I was especially impressed with the patience and knowledge of the staff, considering I do not know a lot about vehicles.

I will return to Randy Adams again and again, and I recommend that anyone who is in the market for a used car check them out.

This is the second baby Benz that I have owned. My first was a C320 with a beautiful color combo black on black. I loved it, but wanted to go back to a SUV. I got the itch for a sport luxury again... and made the choice to go with a BMW 325ci coupe. Very nice, but not nearly as luxurious as the Benz. So I found this gem I own now, a 1 owner lease return, 2005 C230 Kompressor with only 19k miles and loaded with every option possible. I have only had it for a day but so far I don't miss the Beamer at all.

Cool Fuel ecconomy and safety, I

am the odd man out here.
I bought a 210 specifically after research revealed that the elb v6 was capable of fantastic fuel ecconomy, and,
Crash safety, ported to be the safest benz ever built.

So, I am a very happy owner RIGHT NOW. in that I am looking at my next car and I see NOTHING on the floor of a MB dealership that comes close to what I have now.
I am afraid that I am looking at a prius, and hopeing that mb does something to pull me back.
A very happy mb owner.

We bought our W210 wagon because the engines are bulletproof, easy to work on, great gas mileage, tons of room, and they are a good value when bought used.
Honestly the thing that made us almost not buy it was the fact that it is a Benz. The stigma and "snob appeal" of a Benz is so great that I still feel a bit akward driving it to Wal-Mart and dealing with the stares.
But the car looks and drives great and just feels so nice that I can ignore the dirty looks it generates.
