Vote early and often
Well I voted once using the Mercedes-Benz vehicle I own with the highest mileage. That would be my 1995 E320 Coupe with 117,900 miles (only 307 coupes sold in the U.S. that, the ultimate year for the W124). When the CLK 320 replaced it the following model year its MSRP was some $15k lower. Interpret that as you will.
In addition, my wife and I own a 1967 230S with just over 93,000 miles. It is a very handsome car and drives and rides like a dream. We also have a 2003 ML350 which my wife (primarily) has driven over 80,000 miles in 48 months. This is not a record I know but it is a pretty good number for someone who works only 4 miles from her house. The majority of that 80,000 is courtesy of Mom's taxi service.
I didn't buy the 230S new. I obtained it in August of 2002 at it had traveled87,000 miles at that time. Obviously, I don't drive it as much as I would like to. Unlike my wife's situation, my office is 45 miles from the house and in the middle of the big city. As comfortable and competent as the fintail is I do not feel like subjecting it to that type of driving.
