06 e320 CDI with 110,000 when we bought it last month. It's our "Low Milage" vehicle (if you don't count the motorcycle). Also have a 2005.5 Jetta TDI with 189,000 miles! Both are just getting broken in!

After tires, fluid changes, thermostat and some motor mounts it should be as good as new. All said a really nice car for $20K (including the above mentioned "repairs")

Where did you get the 120K km figure from? From what I've seen there is not replacement interval. Just luck of the draw as to how long they last. Many recommend a rebuild at 150K Miles (not a change at 76K Miles - 120K km).

I was looking for a source more like Mercedes or Bosch (I believe they make the injectors). A Youtube video of one car that has problems in no way shows that the injectors need to be replaced on every car at at 120K km. I've inspected mine and don't have any of the black crud as is seen in the video (and is noted in other forums as an indicator of an issue). Also that's a different model of Mercedes so it doesn't make sense to assume that every diesel will look like that. They don't even state how many miles or KM that car had on it.

Sorry, but I think I'll save the money for now and not replace things that are working fine.
