Hi Rudy,

I do have the same model car (1995, Mercedes Benz E280 W124).
Odo meter shows 220K kms, and i am geting 6 to 6.5 Kilimeters per liter of petrol
that is to run 100 KM 16.6 liters of gasoline.

Can any one help me out how to get good fuel efficiency.

regards,

Thimothy

My 2001 E240 (W210) has 110K

My 1979 250 (W123) has 92K

Both drive like new as they have been regularly maintained in accordance with MB service schedules.

I voted for the 99 ML 430 we own. It was the vehicle that brought me here. 190,000 miles.
We got it new after having a 98 ML 320 that was totalled shorlty after taking delivery of it.
Luckily I had already ordered the ML 430 in early 98 so it was at the dealer just a week
after the loss of the 320.

We also have a 1990 300E that is at 274,000 miles.

6 weeks ago snagged a 2005 A fully optioned E500 4 Matic wagon with 69,000

My 1990 W201's odo reads 217K km, so some 135K miles. I bought it just over 2 years ago with 155K km, then 6 months later I got a new function that required me to travel up to 4000km per month.
