Despite what you may have heard, more isnít always better. Proving this point, the folks atMercedes-Benz revealed their 2017 Mercedes C-Class Coupe at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Itís got two fewer doors than its sedan counterpart and, accordingly, a lot more style.
Countless changes have been made compared to its predecessor and the latest sporty C-Class is bigger than before. Its wheelbase has been extended by more than three inches, its overall length is up by nearly four inches and itís more than one-and-a-half inches wider. These changes provide an extra helping of interior space for all passengers. Keeping weight in check despite the growth spurt, its hood, fenders and trunk lid are rendered in aluminum.
Underneath all that swanky styling, the carís suspension has been lowered by 15 millimeters compared to the C-Class sedan. The standard steel springs are stiffer as well.
Mercedesí four-corner AIRMATIC suspension system is also available. With five different settings, the driver can tailor the vehicleís chassis to his or her preference.
