Transmission upgrades for 2012 include the addition of the 7-speed MCT unit from the SL63, with quicker shifts and a new 'controlled efficiency' mode that delivers improved fuel economy of 10 percent.
A long list of other upgrades have been included, with an updated AMG sports suspension with more rear camber and a larger rear sway bar.
Outside the car gets a revised front fascia and rear diffuser along with LED lighting and a new design for the AMG wheels, while the biggest changes are reserved for the interior. For 2012, the C63 gets an all new dash derived from the CLS, complete with a TFT display in the center of the gauges, plus a new three-spoke AMG steering wheel and aluminum shift paddles. Those in search of the ultimate luxury can opt for one of four one-tone or three two-tone disgno leather interiors.
