Good Lord, wasn't Bosch responsible for the M Class? Who is running Mercedes? Didn't someone say, ah, "Do we really need this in our automobiles?" Bad move, Mercedes!

I can see having the passenger be able to "watch" or see something that the driver will not be able to see. However, I come from the school of the less that can distract the driver the better of everyone is. Cell phones, BlackBerry's, PDA's, etc. are just one distraction. GPS/Navigation systems are another. And so on.

Sounds like a "neat" feature. If it doesn't sacrafice safety, OK.
