Read more at F1 Results - F1 Malaysian Grand Prix: Race results lucky win for Ricciardo and second for Verstappen, even though at times they looked real close to taking each other out. Without his car problems, it was Hamiltons race. Kimi saved a little for Ferrari with a pretty feisty drive.

Nico did a great job. Lewis' engine well........not so good.

If Nico keeps on going strong it looks like we will have a new champ.

Hamilton looked understandably crushed.

The (penalty) wheel bang pass with Raikonnen was a feisty move, but also a 'loss of temper' one that could have cost him and the team dearly.
It reminded me a bit of Montoya.

It doesn't add to Rosbergs skills as a driver, but his ability to seamlessly switch forth and back between English, French, German, Italian and Spanish during interviews is quite impressive.

I am still waiting to see a good overhead video about the first corner bang up.
Cheers

I am not sure if you saw it on SKY or MSNBC, but after about 20 laps MSNBC did show a replay from the helicopter and Vettel just got in that turn way too hot. It was amazing Rosberg did not get collected in the spin it caused. Bell interviewed Vettel later in the race and Vettel said it was not a hard hit. That sort of made me wonder what he thinks a hard hit is with these carbon fiber wishbones.

Rosberg really was nasty when he gave Kimi that hip check. Lucky it did not hurt the suspension or cause a puncture. I believe you are correct it was his temper acting up. I also believe that if he feels any threat from a car that could cost him points and possibly the driver's championship we may see antics like that again. Ideally if he does it again the stewards will remember what has already taken place and give him a drive through, a drive through with a timed hold, or take grid spots for the next race. I doubt they will take any points away unless he causes a serious crash to another driver. He can't be that short sighted.

Suzuka will be interesting. Lewis has owned it the last two years and in 2015 was over 18 seconds ahead of of Nico. Lewis has three wins there if we add 2007 to the list. That track suits him well. They way the Red Bulls are running if Lewis can get the two Red Bulls between him and Nico Lewis has a slim chance of getting the points back over 5 races, but I doubt that will happen 5 races in a row.

Five races left, 25 points for first, 18 points for second, and 15 points for third. With a 23 points lead and provided he keeps his head down and drives his heart out, Rosberg has the advantage. But funny things can happen.

All Lewis needs to do is win 4 out of 5 and hope Nico has a DNF. He's due one. If no DNF, then he has to win 5.

He can do it if the car can.

As yesterday's race proved, anything can happen.
