Nico put in a new track record in qualifying starting P1. Lewis is on the second row in P3. Let's hope he can get a good start because if Ricciardo who is starting in P2 gets in front of Lewis it is going to be a long day for Lewis.
The Red Bulls are working very well on this track and frankly if I was a driver I am not sure I want Max starting next to me latched onto my gearbox for a chunk of the race for fear he would take me out of the race with one of his "impulsive" moves.

Rosberg must have dug really deep. What an awesome lap.
To be persistently able to do so would be the only way to beat Hamilton over the long run.

As an aside, I think the owners of F1 should at least pay the fuel bill for Hamilton's plane. His fashion and music event visiting world jetting set live style has turned him into a kind of ambassador for the formula one brand to the younger generation.

He seems to spend a lot of time over here. Last year is saw a dark Shelby Cobra (black or real dark blue with no stripe) on the 101 Fwy with a very attractive female passenger and what looked like him driving.
A friend later told me about a Kardashian compound in Calabassas where Hamilton is supposed to keep his Cobra.

He has been with one of the Kardashian girls. He does have a genuine Shelby Cobra among other amazing cars.
My original 1966 427 Shelby Cobra. #Malibu #BossWhip #AllOriginal #Classic - Lewis Hamilton

That lap by Nico was amazing. When he crossed the timing line my popped out so far they knocked my glasses off my face.

The # 2 grid Red Bull may be the one to watch. Isn't Ricciardo on a softer tire compound?

I can't remember for sure what Red Bull used in Quali 2. I do know the MBs are on the ultra softs, so Ricciardo can't be on anything softer than those.

Well I had full working working that even carried over to about 7am Monday so I just watched the race on the DVR.
The podium was just like the starting grid. Nico drove a solid race. Daniel did well also. Lewis just could not find his mojo.

All in all I have to saw it was not really an exciting race. What I like most about Singapore is the cars under the lights. That is impressive.
