The boys looked strong Friday until Nico's problem that was thought to be a transmission. He didn't get any practice time as a result.
Qualifying was a Red Bull walk but the Mercedes team put up a great fight. Michael was the second to last car on the track when Q3 checker was thrown and had a great shot at moving up the grid after one more fast lap. Unfortunately, it appeared he did not have enough fuel on board and the team called off a charge for one last time.
Looking forward to tomorrow and either Ferrari or McLaren unseating the Red Bull of Vettel. It will be a challenge though - he (Vettel)appeared to be sandbagging all weekend and was able to rip off hot laps at will when he needed to.
