Ferrari, Red Bull rebuke FIA entry
Entries invalid until team alliance conditions met

Ferrari and Red Bull stand their ground
The sport's governing body today unveiled its 2010 entry list with Ferrari, along with the two Red Bull-owned teams, listed as entries for next season without conditions. The remaining five team alliance members were granted conditional entries dependent on them settling or dropping their demands on the FIA.

Both Red Bull Racing and Ferrari wasted no time in responding to the FIA insisting that they also have ‘conditional’ entries and will not compete unconditionally in the series alongside the new teams.

The Formula One Teams’ Association, of which Ferrari and Red Bull remain fully fledged members, has demanded that the 2009 rules be carried forward into next season with no cost restraints imposed. In addition they insist that the Concorde Agreement be renewed with immediate effect.

"Following the FIA’s publication of the entry list for the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship, Red Bull Racing would like to make it clear that its entry was submitted as a conditional entry, consistent with those of all other FOTA members," its statement read. "Red Bull Racing remains committed to FOTA and fully endorses all its principles.
"

Red Bull-owned Scuderia Toro Rosso then issued a statement using identical terms.

Ferrari meanwhile stated that they "shall not take part in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship until the conditions of its entry are satisfied."

The Italian champions went on to insist that the conditions of its entry have not been met by the FIA and therefore its inclusion on the entry list is erroneous.

"For the avoidance of any doubt, Ferrari reaffirms that it shall not take part in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship under the regulations adopted by the FIA in violation of Ferrari's rights under a written agreement with the FIA," the team concluded.

Weird tactic by the FIA. Divide and conquer? Trying to put a wedge between Ferrari, Red Bull and FOTA?
