European GP - Valencia Spain

Lewis Hamilton's second and Heikki Kovalainen's fourth for McLaren-Mercedes was pretty much the best possible for the team today. Massa was the class of the field and nothing short of a failure or accident was going to stop him. It was pretty much a procession type of race and not very exciting.

Next year I am going to try to make it out there. My aunt and uncle (and cousins) live in Valencia and the rest of my fam lives up north. We are Alonso fans but I have always been a fan of the silver star(just don't like Hami). It was a good race minus my boy getting screwed by Nakajima and gorgeous course.

I love to see Porsche going back to F 1 in a few years after controlling VW group. I was wonder is the driver's skill more important than the factory's design. Even Renault was the best maker last year but Ferrari factory team is always in the top two finished factory.

500SEC 1984 retired at 192K
Porsche 928S GT 1984 (euro) retired at 243K

Good point.
Ferdinand Piech, Grandson and part owner of Porsche, was the man behind the Porsche 908 (which led to the later 917), responsible for the Quattro, and the entry into the Ralley program. when he was running Audi, and responsible for the creation of the Bugatti Veyron, when he was CEO of VW, is one of the most brilliant managers / engineers of the Automobile industry.
Even though he owns roughly 13% of Porsche, according to the company statutes, no family member is allowed to be involved in the running of the family business.

Porsche owns 31% of the VW group's shares.
