I like this from Bernie E, a bit rich coming from him........
Mr Ecclestone said that he was shocked by the allegations but did not expect Mr Mosley’s position to be affected. “I’ve known him an awful long time. If somebody had told me this without the evidence I would have found it difficult to believe,” he said.
“Assuming it’s all true, what people do privately is up to them. I don’t honestly believe [it] affects the sport in any way. Knowing Max it might be all a bit of a joke. You know, it’s one of those things where he’s sort of taking the p***, rather than anything against Jewish people.”
Max Mosely seemed like a right cunt before. Now this confirms it. Asshole should step down. But, do we really want Jean Todt to take the position (which has been rumored)? Or who would you suggest?

Bernie has advised Max to stay away from the GP this weekend.
Sound advice. He will distract from the race and it appears that the Bahraini Royal Family will not welcome his presence.
I admit I am not a fan of Mosely. What people choose to do behind closed doors with consenting adults paid or otherwise is their own business I suppose.
But his predilictions have become public and whilst they may not impact on his ability to do his job they undermine his standing and credibility. I see little difference between him and the ex-Mayor of New York.
It looks like he is going to try to tough it out. I hope he fails.
Interestingly both the BBC and ITV our major TV Networks have kept a low profile with this. One currently has the TV rights to F1 and the other is about to take over.
Martin Brundle who works for ITV as a commentator has said that Max should go. Brundle also writes a column for the Sunday Times which was faced with libel suit for comments Brundle wrote last year about the FIA's treatment of McLaren.
Is it a coincidence that the newspaper that broke the story about Mosely is also owned by Rupert Murdoch who owns the Times/Sunday Times?
I just hope that Sir Jackie Stewart is privately enjoying every moment of this. In public he would be too professional and measured to ever admit it.
