Bahrain Qualifying

Wow. I am really liking this new qualifying method. If today was any indication tomorrow should be good. Not happy with that plume of blue smoke out of Ham's car but otherwise a great qualifying again for the BenzBoys.

Corner1 should be busy.

Being smart is knowing the difference, in a sticky situation between a well delivered anecdote and a well delivered antidote - bear.

Not too sure what the plan is with Alonso - he'll need to go some with both Ferraris in front of him (assuming he doesn't do a Lewis and take them both!) even if he's carrying more fuel.

Hamilton wasn't holding back so like you McBear I hope the blue plumes aren't a sign of engine problems similar to those that killed Kimi for a couple of seasons.

Assuming reliability - first corner will be a test - hopefully they will both go to the end but I favour Hamilton slightly in this race over Alonso.

Honda must really be scratching everything, never mind their heads heh heh. Don't discount BMW - they're showing good pace and Heidfeld has potential; Kubica is a bit too maverick for me.

Damn did I just use those annoying three letters?

Just a feeling but think the race is going to come down to reliability. McMerc have the race pace and the pitcrew to beat Ferrari, but one of them needs to get ahead of Massa.

Come on Lewis!!!

yeah i watched the quali last night and it was very exciting...i was hoping heifield can mix it with the big boys instead of being behind them...

i reckon alonso have more fuel than kimi, massa and hamilton....i wouldnt be suprised if hamilton and massa trip over eachother at the start...massa's under pressure to perform in this race...
