ToyMotor F1 Advertising

I wonder when Toyota will stop using their F1 racing connection in their advertising. Here in Australia it seems to be constant as Toyota sponsor the coverage of F1 racing and all of the sports shows.

Frankly its not like they have alot to be crowing about. It seems to me that they have made zero progress in their time in F1. They started mid-field and are still mid-field. Worse, their own customer car (Williams) is faster despite it being only their first season with the Toyota engine.

Maybe there will be a new team in 08 or 09 as the current licence held by Toyota is sold off to somebody new... It proves you can't just use marketing to build up heritage. It has to be won. Seems you can't copy it - no matter how good you are at copying other makers show room products.

i think it's all luck of the draw whether a team suceed or not...it all depends a team getting the best and right technical people at the same time...i don't believe one man can make a difference...historically not one team have dominated f1 for a period of more than 10 years...every team has it's up and down...just look at ferrari...they won nothing for YEARS before the schuey era...

i think toyota just need to stick it out and get the right people in...honda and bmw's in the same boat too...
