Sit back, relax and spend all those millions if has got any sense.
I think you'll find that he'll be some kind of consultant for Ferrari before too long, that's what I think anyway. Or, he might even start, or buy into a racing team, here or abroad. Whatever he does, I don't think you're going to see the last of him. Most of these ex-racing drivers become very successful businessmen and make even more money.

DTM had offered 14 mio. $, or something in the neighborhood of all the other dtm drivers salaries combined. Shell and Marlboro had offered to pay for a 2007 Ferrari pairing of Kimi/Schu their combined salaries of around 70 mio.. Too bad, that would have been some fireworks to watch. I hope he gets really bored after a few month of retirement. With Schumachers departure, Ross Brawn leaving, Jean Todt moving on to become Ferrari CEO, the head of motor engineering moving to Fiat, and several more key engineers leaving, let's see how competitive Ferrari will be in 2007. I only wish that McLaren/Mercedes finally gets their act together. If not for reliability issues, Kimi could have been World champion last year. McLaren certainly doesn't lack the money or resources. Rigorous quality control might help. My pet theory is that Ron Dennis and McLarens hierachical team structure does not inspire motivation. My guess would be that even the floor sweepers at the Ferrari factory in Maranelo take pride in the teams achievements.

So true T. It is a team sport after-all.
I think Schuey will go on to become a team manager within Ferrari. He does the team stuff so much better than any other current driver. And he is hugely respected by the Ferrari faithful. I can't think of anyone more qualified.

Mika Hakkinen, Schumacher's toughest Grand Prix rival between 1998 and 2000, was in Sao Paulo at the weekend to witness the great German's last race.
The Finn said he retired in 2001 because he was 'tired'.
"But I came back (to racing) because it is in our blood. After I stopped all those years of travel and stress, my batteries recharged and I had the desire again."
Hakkinen said in Brazil: "We are racers. We can't live without it and Michael is the same. I can't say when and where, but he will race again."
