Does anyone have any pics. or specs. on this milestone Mercedes-Benz sport car. These cars came in first and second overall in the 24 hours of LeMans in 1989. They used a M199 twin turbo V8 based on the M119 it made 740 hp and was good for 230 plus down the Mulsanne staight. My favorite race car obviously.

I am looking for literature on the development and testing of this super machine. I have seen the LeMans winning car up close, paint chips, road grime and burn marks around exhaust outlets. The KKK turbochargers are HUGE. The weak point of this car was the Hewland racing gearbox which had a hard time dealing with the massive torque when on full boost.
That's why I laugh when people talk about me getting my front bumper repainted on my other car... I'm just going to attend a track day or two, and the damn thing will be butchered again.
