Anyways I dont want to argue, I know the EVOII is a great car, so lets enjoy the few which are left on the road and not worry about facts and figures. As you know a 1996 VR6 Syncro Golf III should be able to keep up with the EVOII (on Paper its faster) but we all know that this is not true.

I do NOT want to argue neither but I don't understand:

The 190E EVO II has 235hp
The 190E 2.o 8v has 122hp

The acceleration figures right here:

190E EVOII=> 0 to 62mph in 7.1s,Top speed 155mph
190E 2l 8v=> 0 to 62mph in 11s, Top speed 118mph


[?]Are you telling me that MB installed a highly tunned 2.5 litre 4 inline for no reason on the 190E ?? How can a 190E 2.0 litre with 8 valves be as fast has a 2.5 EVOII engine that makes 235hp?[?]

unless the 8v is totally stripped, on slicks and with different gearing, no way is the same as the EvoII
