Unhappy 2015 ML350 Front Left Malfunction Service Required

Just bought my brand new 2015 ML350 back in November. We installed the remote start at the dealership. For about 3 months the check engine light was coming on when we would use the remote start. The dealership finally decided to replace the unit with a brand new unit 3 weeks ago. No problems since then until yesterday.

I started the car with the remote start and when I got in the car the dashboard shows "Left Malfunction Service Required". Then this morning the check engine light turned on in addition to the Service Message.

Does anyone know if this new service message relates to the remote start in any way? Has anyone seen this in there cars? I wont be able to go to dealership until Monday so I was hoping to get some answers in the mean time.
