Exclamation Is it worth it? please help!

Hey benzworld I have an x pipe I have ordered but before I install it I Want to make sure that it wont have any impact on my car for example I want to make sure the engine and nothing else gets ruined on my car from putting on the x pipe. The brand of the x pipe is magnaflow 10790 tru x pipe. What are your recommendations should I put it on? Will it impact my car? My car is a 2008 c350.

Uh, welcome, Dax. Please take a minute to click user cp and edit details so you can add your vehicle and location to your profile, it's often useful information when you're seeking assistance.

It's curious that you chose this forum to post your query, rather than the W204 forum as that is specific to your vehicle.

However, since you don't say what you're doing with the x-pipe, it's kind of hard to answer your question. If you are replacing the resonator (aka center muffler) with it, then you will have no problems, though of course you'll need stainless exhaust tubing to make up the difference, too. Any good exhaust shop should be able to handle the install for you. (Note, however, that other than saving a couple of pounds and perhaps gaining a little bit of noise when you're hard on the throttle, it's not going to make any other difference, either.)

If that's not what you had in mind, please repost your query (with full details) in the W204 forum.

Good luck.
