CL V.S S safety

Hi all

I was reading the post on the S-class and its safety.

YES, it is a super safe car.

But, how is the CL?
I know it is based on a S-class, but it do not got the B-pillar for start, so how is that in a crash?
Roll over?

Any one who know, hand on information?

Cheers

Good question, in a head on impact I would think they are pretty even, but concerning roll-over and side impact I would think the S is a bit safer, I´ve been looking for information on this but so far I haven´t found anything

this shows a side impact on the older version, don´t know the speed, but still look pretty stiff

Hello and thank you for the great links
Very good information.

As you say, on a front crash, the CL and the S will be the same, but a side or roll over....Not so sure.
But, looking at the photo, the CL looks solid.

Have a good afternoon.
