'92 2.6 vs. '87 Alfa Spyder bumper tap

Hi, sadly I was distracted by some dilly housewife about to drive straight into my car pulling onto road from a side street because the pickup truck behind me let her in. While watching her to make sure she saw my car and waited the hell up my car rolled forward in drive and bumped an Alfa Spyder convertible. We both drive into a nearby parking lot and my car looks ok and still drives and no damage and his bumper was pushed forward 2".I was certain my headlights would be busted, my bumper gouged up and my grille would be all bent and snapped but none of these things happened. My confidence in German engineering from the very company the introduced the automobile to the world just went through the roof!
