This is what a Mercedes Benz CL55amg airbag did to the back of my head after a tragic head-on collision fresh off a 25mph auto downshift into 1st gear:
See Facebook - "Mercedes-Benz' Laws of Physics" for original crash, worlds' first motive-powered IIHS 40mph/40% overlap crash test, Mercedes' claims and corporate ethics.
After my 2013 Crash test of a CL55amg Mercedes-Benz changed the name of the vehicle to the S-Coupe. After recommending integrated seatbelts be removed from all SL & CL vehicles in 2009, Mercedes finally removed them with a direct frame-connection after claiming an integrated seatbelt can only fail at the connection point and not the base of a cantilever-structure (the seat back).
Hard to expect safety from a company willing to formally deny the very physics they should be the worlds' best ambassadors of.............anything for a buck.
