When closing your window, when it hits an object during the process of closing (such as an arm), the window will go down instead of continuing to go up preventing an accident to happen (such as a severed head- yuck! ). Didn't know about this feature nor can't find it in the owner's manual. You guys can also try but be warned in case the feature will not work for you.
BTW, works for both my ML and C300 (not described in both owner's manual)
VW's also have that feature, which I found out years ago when my buddy driver was closing all the windows while I still had my hand up towards the top. Great game of "I dare you" to try on your friends. BTW...this feature is also on the sunroofs on the W203 C-Class cars.
