Formula One teams might break away from the FIA controlled F1 Championship and start a series of their own according to Bernie Ecclestone.
As no new Concorde Agreement has been signed the teams are free to do as they please. Mosely will not sign the Agreement because he wants to gain more powers for the FIA and Ecclestone is unhappy that this includes more say over where F1's riches go.
It's the immoveable object meets the irresistible force time.
Thrown into the mix is the general unease about Mosley's continued existence as the President of the FIA.
Ecclestone claims that the sports' financial backers want Mosley out.
Over the weekend a story appeared claiming that Mosley had until this Tuesday 17th to go or that the Teams would get the green light to go it on their own.
