I agree, up to a point. It wasn't just the plastic that hit the Mercedes. The mass of the Citroen impacted it and those forces caused the not-inconsiderable damage to the rest of the Citroen...but not to the Mercedes. I think it is rather remarkable.

Yip! They are solid Just not solid enough for a hail storm with ice balls as big as the palm of my hand... though the damage was (not surprisingly) limited to a few hardly noticeable tiny dents.

Your pictures confirm my theory that the Titanic would not have sunken if manufactured by M.Benz.
