Well...score 1 for MB for building a vehicle that you can walk away from after this. But I am sure he is NOT walking right now if the owner of the vehicle has found him. My rule of thumb about loaning my car....if you don't own the equivalent...don't ask.

Well, obvioulsy, this is an extreme situation. But I've always had a policy of not loaning my car to people, period. There's no real benefit in doing it, and the liability you place yourself under by putting you car in the hands of someone else just isn't worth it to me.

Personaly, I think the driver is in the foot well, lodged between the underside of the dash and the brake pedal.

A bridge eh? Maybe the guy was flung into the drink and is presently sleeping with the fish(es).

Maybe he jumped off the bridge instead of facing the owner.

HAHA. My dad was telling me about this a couple of days ago. The rest of the story goes that it was a family member/relative borrowing the car, aclcohol wasn't considered a factor, and they obviously completely wrote off the car. It's assumed that the driver then fled relatively uninjured, becasue there was no blood found or sign of serious injuries being sustained. The police and others all said that the driver would almost certainly be dead if it wasn't a Mercedes.

It would have been a different story if there had been a passenger sitting next to the driver.

Potato Chip, custom canuter valve, low-friction muffler bearings, synthetic turn signal fluid, Hi-Definition Progressive Scan Wiper Blades.
Law-makers are supposed to regulate in the interest of the public as opposed to regulating in the interest of the regulated party.
If it says Pratt and Whitney on the outside it better say Martin Baker on the inside.
