I'm not completely certain here, but it looks like the deer landed on the roof in front of the sunroof at which point the Kudu was torn in 2 pieces. Only a small piece landed on the back seat. This is the rest of the kudu:

It may have gone through the windscreen see the sunvisor under whats left of it in the back seat?
