A 40mph crash destroys half the front end. At 120mph, its
10X the energy. I am surprised there is still some resemblance
of a cabin left.

christ, that's a mess. Is that a prop shaft embedded near the passenger headrest, and the back-box of an exhaust, too?

i'm not a crash expert, but whoever was in that MB is toast, I reckon.

There's a similar crash on YouTube; a silver C-Klasse has crashed head on with a truck in Italy. The Mercedes driver is dead.

No car can provide 100% protection.

yowsers that's a bad crash!

i too would like to see pictures of the truck it crashed into. seeing the c-class wrecked is only half of the story.

The debris inside would just be thrown in there by the tow truck driver. It doesn't mean it was in the cabin as a result of the crash. At that speed and with that much damage to the structure the occupants probably died. It would be a surprise if they survived that.
