Good parking spots are hard to find... (Pics of an interesting Benz accident)
These are pics of my friend's neighbor's Benz. She is 65 and on her third Mercedes. She thought she hit the brake when evidently it was the gas. She and her dog were okay and it seems like the Benz is too He told her to buy a Hummer and sell me the Benz These cars are tanks!

Wow, that is something I haven't seen before. You are right the car doesn't look messed up at all (talking about the Mercedes of course) lol did she end up driving it home?
The toyota probably deserved it for illegally parking in a handicapped spot. Actually, the toyota owner should be thankful it wasn't a heavier W126 instead if a W124.

Good eyes.
I don't see a handicap license plate on the Toyota.

About the Handicap, we have handicap visors as well in California so people can just put it in the window if they switch cars. But I do not even see one of those so it seems like it did deserve it for being in the way.
Good eye with the W124, i should re-post in that forum as well. I am just a W126 junky so I thought I would share with the rest of us.

I think I see a hint of a blue hangar on the rearview mirror. Oops! The pole saved the Benz from major damage. A little faster and she could have gotten the full roll out of it Hollywood style.
Stories like this make me want to run right down to the DMV and give everyone there a hi-five for granting licenses to anyone who can fog a mirror. Sorry if this comes off harsh (and its good to hear your friend isn't hurt) but this kind of incompetence has no place on the road. I see it daily and it drives me out of my mind....the first politician who I hear pushing mando practical re-testing for drivers over age 55 gets my vote....too many things are sacrificed in our culture to make people feel good about themselves, or protect feelings from being hurt.

Astonishing! Good that no one was hurt in this. The car looks like a '92 or a '93.
The insurance underwriters will probably flag this person's policy for review, I'd wager. A possible non renewal could well result.....
