John, when the bitter end is near for that 300 I may be interested in getting the jacking point areas cut out at all 4 corners. Assuming that they're rust free of course. Get out the SawzAll and have at it. My 88 260E has rust at all 4 jacking points and I'd like some patch pieces.

I come down 15/340 to visit family in Leesburg several times a year so pickup up is convenient.

My thoughts exactly. I am dying to know the story behind that. Two mattresses tied to the top of a vintage SLC filled with plywood, now sitting in a junkyard. That has to be an interesting tale.
