Hi,
One time, I was in my car with some friends and as I was getting on to the freeway, some lady in a Saturn stationwagon turned left at her red light and hit me. Sorry I dont have any pics of her car but all I can tell you is that it was completely smashed in. My damages were over 20,000.00 dollars and took 2 months to fix. Now I traded in that car for a 2007 S550 AMG and I just purchased a 2007 S65 AMG. Thanks for reading.
P.S. The damage wasnt that bad on the benz, only thing was that my AMG bottom grille thing was cracked and my left headlamp was cracked. This pic shows the lights and bumber removed.

Just curious - if the damages on your benz weren't that bad, why did it cost $20k and 2 months to fix?
To be honest with you, I dont know why it cost sooooo much. I think it had to do with the fact that they had to call MB in Germany and rent the special alignment machines and other things like that. That is probably a big chunk of the fixing cost. But to be honest, they didnt do a great job. When I traded in my car they said that the frame and structural integrity wasnt fixed properly. I hope that answers your question.
P.S.
I havent received my 2007 S65 AMG yet, sadly. But I can give you descriptions though. It is Black on the exterior with Black exclusive leather. It has everything standard which includes Heated and Active Ventilated Front Seats, SIRIUS Satelite Radio, Parktronic, Keyless Go, Dynamic Rear View Monitor, Drive-Dynamic Multicontour Front Seats with Massage, the AMG Performance Package, Rear Seat Package which includes Power Rear Seats, Heated and Active Ventilated Rear Seats, Four Zone Climate Control, Rear seats with massage, it also has the monitors in the headrests (specially ordered), Individual Rear Seats (4 Seater), Multicontour Rear Seats, Panorama Roof, and the heated wood and leather sterring wheel. It also has the electronic trunk closer, and power side window sunblinds, basically everything. One thing that shocked me is that its not available with the Illuminated Door Sills which actually shocked me. Its not coming for another 7 months, so if anybody actually owns a 2007 S65 AMG, please let me know how it is because I am dying like crazy to get it. Oh yeah it has 20 inch AMG rims and I will be sure to post pictures of it when it arrives!!
For those who haven't had any crashes, I can tell you that's gonna be at least $13000.. I am pretty sure that the car has frontal main frame / sub frame damage from the impact. looks like radiator was also removed, meaning that engine might have been pushed back a little bit. With other expensive stuffs added, it's not surprising to see over 20k to fix..
