sad story - but a head on crash at 80 MPH goes beyond any crash tests as well.
let alone for a 1995 model Saturn....shows again that those seatbelts save lives.

I agree,I saw the image of the Saturn and MB on TV last night and there is no comparison to the damaged of the C class, the whole front end of the Saturn is gone and for the MB only the hood buckled up.

This story:

http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/m...15twodead.html

Same as this?

http://www.10news.com/slideshow/slid...98/detail.html

Both Saturn station wagons, people in the Saturn both died, and the one in the MB only had minor injuries. Both stories at 80mph. Weird...

Wonder why the different info? No mention of a passenger in the MB on one story, no mention of the drunk teenager on the Saturn with the other story. Hmm...
