So how do you feel about getting put up on WreckedExotics?

I feel that a picture of me making love to the CL500 by.. polishing every nook and cranny, would be one hell of a better picture. But i'll settle with the bitter end picture--- as a way to lay her to rest.

Cant talk in great detail because this case will most likely go to trial.

I am feeling that I want another CL-class Benz CL or the CLS with the new head lights that look like they dare one to step in front of them... with a mobster like squent of the eyes. sorry thats my obsession kicking in.....

I'm not too sure where they got that figure, and I am not really sure whether to trust it or not.

One reason is because this was not a CL 500 AMG, but was a CL 500 with AMG Rims. Also, it would be very unlikely to have 432 AMG CL 500's in the states.

It is possible that there are 432 regular CL 500's in the states, but I highly-doubt that there are that many Full Spec AMG Tuned CL 500's in the states, especially since no AMG Version was avalible from the dealers. Something in the WreckedExotics statement is false.

My cars:

BLACK 1996 S500 (W140) - Sold

BURGUNDY 1989 560 SEL (W126) - Sold

I can confirm that the reliable magazine "Luxury & Exotics" also said that there are "only 432 in the U.S." to support Wreckedexotics.com. As for the AMG package....all I know is this was a grey-market car and... the previous owner had extra work done on it including the suspension & changing of rims.

I've never seen this post until now, but it's such a shame to see a W140 CL wrecked so badly. You hardly ever see those coupes around here. You were lucky to be driving such a safe and solid car - and it's good to hear that you turned out okay.

That is very true; there is no harm in asking. I have been told that I should expect to pay at least 20% below the asking price with this caliber of car. Do you drive a CL500 yourself?

I have whittled it down to 2 cars now. The CL500 and maybe a 6 series BMW (they seem pricy as well) although I am yet too drive a 6 series and the interior looks a bit tacky but I have heard they are a lovely car. This particular CL500 at the auction is very nice if you want to check it out. The mileage is decent as well. If I got it for 12 I think I would be pretty happy. But then again it is an auction.
