RE: My uncle's accident

I have seen many cars with that type of damage from severe collisions where the windshield pillar is bent back from the force of the impact and the frame and floor buckles under the crush load bending at the "B" pillar between the doors because of the loss of ridged structure around the sunroof opening, but I have never seen a Benz damaged this way. If a Benz was damaged that severely, any other car would likely have not allowed survival for the occupants.

Your picture is proof of the main reason I own a Mercedes. The quality problems may be annoying, but safety has always been the design area I pay the most attention to.

BTW: The speedometer appears stuck at 120 kph. Were they going that fast when the instrument panel lost power?

Potato Chip, custom canuter valve, low-friction muffler bearings, synthetic turn signal fluid, Hi-Definition Progressive Scan Wiper Blades.
Law-makers are supposed to regulate in the interest of the public as opposed to regulating in the interest of the regulated party.
If it says Pratt and Whitney on the outside it better say Martin Baker on the inside.

The car that smashed in my uncles car was a Mercedes C-class,car car was cut in two pieces and the passangers were killed.

That's right,after this crash my uncle bought a Mercedes E 270 CDI W211

In all new cars the speedometer stuck at the speed you've been droven,if you have a bad crash. That happend in one second and my uncle couldn't react and then he crashed[:(]
