RE: Secure cabins

A friend of the family crashed his S (126) pretty bad a few years back...an "offset" crash at
about 70mph, when a drunk driver (thought now to have been travelling well over the 65mph speed
limit) swerved into his lane. He scratched his nose on the airbag, and the seatbelt bruised his
ribs a bit, but he walked out of the car and was otherwise OK.

The front passanger area absorbed the brunt of the force, and was crunched in quite a ways, would've
been a close call for anyone sitting there.

As for the Neon, all four of them were killed in the crash. Sad story.

Sounds like an impact equivalent to Princess Diana's accident. Wow, these things are sick![xx(] I'm surprised the Neon didn't blow up.

Drunk or not, its a shame that those 4 people lost their lives. Might as well have hit a brick wall if they were going to hit the W126.[:(]
