It's what I call the Fake Rolex Syndrome. Anyone who noticed the watch would also notice it's fake and the impression created would be the opposite of what was hoped for. Sad.
So true! "You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time." - A.Lincoln
That is why I keep these little beauties in my business card holder. Feel free to distribute them yourself.
I've been thinking of keeping a few of these with me....just in case

i agree the only people that care about you having an AMG badge are the people that can immediately tell that you car is not an AMG and you are a tool...
yesterday I SAW another good one. the AMG and E55 badges where on the wrong sides of the car... I should have taken a picture but I was too busy crying with laughter.

LOL... this reminds me of a story.
The only rebadge I have ever done was to my F350 Dual rear wheel Crew cab after I finished a good deal of modifications and felt it needed some distinction for it. So there was (and still is) this fellow that milled custom badges out of Billet Aluminum that would be within reason what you wanted to put on there. So I had him do a set of badges that said F350 Super Crewzer. Normal badge would say "Super Duty". This Super Crewzer is a deliberate miss spelling that was used by an outfit that customized larger F650 trucks into trailer hauling trucks. So it was never used in the more mid sized trucks except for those of us that decided to use it on highly customized versions of the F350 Crew Cabs. And most of us would paint the lettering to match our particular trim color highlight or something. Other than they are polished Aluminum they are the same fonts and size and style so they look stock. Looks nice and doesn't "poser" anything else more or less. Custom badge for custom done truck.
However I had the truck in for some suspension work and received a call from the office lady telling me that they cannot find the parts for the truck. Nothing showing up as a F350 Super Crewzer. So it backfires on ya don't it?
You guys have it easy! here in New Zealand, I have seen some of the stupidest things imaginable to mankind.
First, we have the 'blingers'.... which can best be described thus; 1994-1997 C200, or E200 (no more, as they can't afford to run anything bigger than a 2000cc engine). 20" Chromes, 180 000kms on the clock, and to top it off a nice license plate with something like "Pure luxury" or a variant. The best part... they list them for sale at ridiculous prices, such as $15k NZD (~ 11,838.06 USD)
Second, we have the 'posers'.... Best example would be a 1998 Toyota Celica, with a body kit, and a .... PORSCHE badge! The guy didn't even bother to change both badges, only the front one lol.
Sorry for the rant! I just can't resist pointing these out to anyone who's even mildly interested in cars, my girlfriend detests it :P
Just the other day I came up on a Chyrsler 300 with Bently badges inside the Chrysler wings. While stopped at the light I said to the driver nice Bently and he said thanks nice Benz. Then I laughed and told him he shouild put the right badges on he isn't fooling anyone.
Did this tool look Chinese? I can see some of them doing this kind of silly stuff... sorry, I do want to generalize but I drive the same Freeway daily and see a lot of similar tools with similar ideas
"Did this tool look Chinese? I can see some of them doing this kind of stuff"
"I do want to generalize"
...?
What the heck bro...
