Makes me glad to know my car went on to be these beasts in more way than one. Well atleast to test a lot of components.
I have read that the reason the W220 was softer as far as looks goes was it was not to be the top top flagship, but the Maybach was to that job, and it Does, Maybach for me just means Super Ultimate Luxury sedan that is a Mercedes.
Maybach -(My-bok)

Over 150K and it's sweet!
My W140 reminds me of the presence and prestige of the W100, in that, rather than feeling like a business man, I feel like a dictator. I feel like the W140 is a throwback to great regards of comfort and power that the W100 laid out.

I've never written to you before but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision.
I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs...phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says: "Just some friends from work, you don't know them."
I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive, although I can hear a car setting off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Maybe she wasn't in a taxi? I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went
berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.
Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.
I decided I was going to park my Harely Davidson next to the garage and hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she comes home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my Harley, that I noticed that the rocker boxes seem to be leaking a little oil.
My question is this: Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?
Stolen from BITOG.
This is a scenario happening to me now. Oh well, lots of fishes in the ocean. Just kidding...........

I actually have worked with one of the top MB mechanics in the country here in Sarasota for many years. The dealership is about 3 miles down the road. I have gone there at times and borrowed special tools or the mechanic came to my house to help me do something. I have even gone there and was told to park in bay 18 and use a mechanics tools to do my own work once on a transmission. I basically have free range. They all know me over there.

It does make such a difference having a thoughtful mechanic, I've found a mechanic that I've been so impressed with in knowledge and nature he's increased my brand loyalty to that particular car considerably, I picked up a project car of the same badge about 1000kms away yesterday and he was right on the phone when I needed advice, out of hours and walking me through everything I needed to get me home (ended up getting more intense so I booked a truck and got the next flight home...hehe, but thats not the point).
The Maybach, and the rest ofcourse, are stunning, my old-man has stuck to S-Classes so the Maybach is somewhat of an icon to him,
I better get back to studying after reading this thread.... again.
Have a read of the thread, he's been asked that a few times, and answered, it's along the lines of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery... or, more importantly to the forum...
he drives a Maybach.
