When you look at the trunk of the Maybach doesn`t it remind you of the lines of the W140?....from which it takes a number of styling cues.
I have always thought that the Maybach is the logical development of the S600L. Think that`s certainly true in respect of the quality of the car and the prices you had and have to pay for them.
At launch fifteen years ago the V12 S was at or over £100,000 so taking inflation into account the Maybach is just about on the button in terms of equivalent asking price.
One of the main criticism of the W140 was it`s size but the Maybach dwarfs the W140. What was your impression? Is it too big?
I've sat in the drivers seat of one before and even though its very long it should be quite manageable with a little practice. I've driven everything from Range Rovers to small box trucks (Moving day [8D] ) And if someone can manage to get a bus up the roads of my fathers hometown in Portugal (Can you say mountains?) then a Maybach 62 should be even easier to manuver despite its length.
Does anyone even know what the turning radius is?
