Nope, its an SDL not an SE. We used to take out van to the airport and it felt like the trip took forever. When I got my car we switched and the two hour+ drive now goes by in a second[8D] I could only imagine how fast the trip would feel in either a Pullman or a Maybach 62.

The old 600s are more classy. Even the Vatican had a special 600 Landaulet for the Pope, I think it's now in the Mercedes Benz museum. The Pope doesn't use a Maybach now. The 600 Landaulets were used by many Heads of State, I haven't seen any Maybachs used in that role.
Someone said Maybachs are for upstarts, that's totally true. Even Phantoms as well. They're owned by rappers, who keep putting the cars in their videos, and basketball players. The old 600s were owned by the elite business people and only the most successful of entertainers, not these young bucks of today..

tjmotor, those first set of pics you posted looked to be taken from Hong Kong. Do you know how much that restoration cost? Is the engine in that 600 an AMG 6.0 V-12? Those are some great pics of a great car. Thanks
One more thing, how is the leather roof stored on the 600 Landaulets? In the second set of pics you posted, you can see the leather roof behind the rear 3rd door when the top is open. Does the roof store flat in a compartment near the trunk (like the roof on the SLKs today) or does it just stick out behind the 3rd door?

Wow one of the websites wrote about another 600 Coupe, albeit an unofficial non-factory conversion. I thought the Nallinger and KHM coupe were the only ones. Great stuff.
I looked into some classic car prices in HK. The Hong Kong 600 should easily cost $6-8m HK dollars. I saw a restored 1974 Rolls-Royce Phantom going for $4m HKD and the 600 Landaulet is much more rare. I agree that there's nowhere to really use it and a 6-door limousine is a pain to get around in Hong Kong. What's with those Mag rims on the 600? Couldn't they put original rims on it?
If these restored Landaulets are going for $750,000, I wonder how much the Long-Top Presidential version in similar condition would sell for. Thanks again.
